The purpose of waking up another day..

For the past couple years, i've been stumped on why i should keep on living and not reach for the pills.
This may sound utterly cheesy, but the answer was sorta right under my bed (that i just clean this evening). Its a book called "The Meaning of Life" and its basically just a picture book... I was about to post the pic of the cover on here, but i felt like that'd be wayyyy to cheesy.
It taught me, in the past 30 min. of reading it, that the meaning of life isn't just one saying for all of humanity, but we must find our own  meaning for why we live the life we live. I AM HERE TO DO WHAT I LOVE, AND WHAT I LOVE IS--... ummm, thats where i unfortunatly draw a blank...

Do i want to help?Yes, i almost positive thats what i want. But what do i helpp? Is it animals (which i love so so dearly). Or is it to help people?
AHHHH!
hmm.. on a lighter note, from trying to find myself, up there is a pic i found!!!

Shit happens

Place: parking lot complex, Huntington Beach, CA
Date: 12/22/08 @ 8 pm
People: Alexia (driver) Me (scared-ass passenger) Jake (passenger)
Objects: 2000 Dodge Durango vs Toyota stick truck
Story: shit, soo Alexia, Jake and I are on our way to Barnes and Noble, and were looking for a parking spot. We luckly find a skinny one on the second level. Alexia begins to turn in and i start to notice how we are getting very very close to the left side of the other cars bumper and then ** BANGG** we hit that mini truck. The poor car was no match with our massive Dodge!! With out thinking, Alexia races out of the complex and drives down to the mall, and park there..
She is freaking, and finally decides to go back and give her number. Sad thing is that while she are pulling out of her parking spot, she hits another parked car behind her. Jake and I say nothing, while she thinks she just hit a curb... We never told her the truth.
Conclusion: 2 cars hit, and $2,000 added to Alexia's insurance (and her family is broke) :(

Death is where life begins

Its such an intense word, death..
but because its used so often in our media and society, we have become so custom with the word.
Did  we truly forget how to react when we hear "12 children and 33 adults were killed (aka death) in a car bombing"?
Every single person in that homicide had a life. They all had their own memories. Their first holiday, their first loose tooth, their first kiss. But it was all taken away by the blast of the disaster. Their parents/ gaurdians hope who cared for them, their hopes of them one day being someone great, blown away.
THEY ALL WERE SOMEONE.
-We never really pay too much attention to the deaths of others, unless that human was close to us.
Next time i would love for you to put a face and a past on the death of someone you never knew. It makes the death of that person feel much more real; because it is real.
